Haven’t heard that, wouldnt one think with our forward/mid recruiting lately he is the one at risk? Not phillips? I seriously see Jy the first to be pushed out of the middle. If anyone needs a big 2024, its Jyza.

Phillips will be fine he’ll increase his output from last season, it’s inevitable. He’ll have further growth and continue to become a cemented midfielder in a premiership team.

I don’t think either of them are at risk at this point. We might have recruited players in similar positions but there’s a long way to go.

So he’s been told he isn’t good enough. Good, clarity and honesty from the coaches.

I think we need to stop placing expectation on Will. He doesn’t have to be the great hope for the club, we have plenty of talent now to share that load.

People forget this guy has no football leading up to the draft, hasn’t completed a full AFL preseason and also had the best part of a year wiped out by Glandular Fever.

I think he will be a slow burn, but once he gets there he will an integral part of the team.

Don't think anyone should be potting either one. They both give everything they have and leave the field knowing they have done their best they can for us.

I've always thought his best work happens forward of centre. I wouldn't go as far as DuckYeah, but I don't rate him as a mid. I think he can be a really good player, but needs to spend more time forward.

I think it is sorta funny.

It is a Tuesday in the middle of December, anyone who is posting here now is a diehard fan, and likely has more in common with anyone they argue with on here than they care to admit.

I'll take it a step further, perception on here is flawed, not entirely but it is flawed. IMO if you put two posters who have beef on here in a room and got them to speak face to face, the animosity would not really be there. Because while there may be angst and vitriol here, most people know how to act around other people IRL and the vast majority of sh*t spoken on here is simply not worth having real life arguments over.

I wouldn't have minded North Melb Lions, but that's just me.....I get that others would've hated it. I was on the band wagon because I could see the long term benefits. It's incredibly difficult to build your supporter base and though us a Fitzroy weren't a bad alignment.
