Phillips is a hard ball specialist and a very good distribution mechanic. He is arguably our best under pressure disposal in the midfield by foot and hand.

He is a disciple of Cunners. Go **** yourself if you think otherwise.

Any campaigner that does not agree is an armchair’s expert that has never won a club bnf of ant trophy in senior Footy. Go **** yourselves.

Go win hardball you campaigners

No good, delist.

Winning the hard ball and disposal is so underrated by our big footy crew. They are quick to hang out campaigners who are great ******* ball winners and good disposalists 😂

We have Taylor and Stevo to win the hard ball...

I know, because I know how hard it is to win a hard ball..
**** that! Winning the hard ball is ****ing paramount to success!

Every campaigner screams jy jy jy, nah **** that! Its Phillips, phillips wins the hard ball and distributes to not a players feet and he hits the target by foot.

Will is a gun on baller, i love the way he goes about it

Anyone have any insight or thoughts on Phillips playing on the yellow team as the number one midfielder whilst the blue team has been stacked with all the other first choice midfielders?

Is he genuinely not considered best 23 or and therefore destined to begin the season in the 2s? Or is he being given the responsibility of the number 1 mid in the yellow team as part of a program designed specifically for him to rebuild his condition post glandular fever, so that when the real stuff starts he will be ready to go in the ones?

They’ll run with more midfield rotations when the real stuff starts. So far we’ve had no more than 2 on the bench for any match sim.

Start with with LDU, Wardlaw and Powell. Jy hf pushing up as an extra mid. We’ll need bench rotations so I certainly wouldn’t rule him out.

What about Sheeze and Kerch? Do you reckon they’ll be fully fledged second rotation options straight up, or just pinch hitting?
