I'm a Will Phill fan, but I don't know who comes off instead of him to get some fresh legs. Everyone else including the likes of Pink were playing important roles. I don't know if it was the right call, but I can see the logic in it because in Shiels there was a replacement for Will and it allowed Stevo to play his more natural position.

Great game by Will. He would have been close to 100% cooked, and if we won it would have been a great move. He certainly deserves another shot next week. Sleeve had 5 touches for absolutely zero influence on the match.

He's not a tagger. Daicos had 4 shots at goal and 29. A tagger shuts a player out for the game, follow him forward or back. Will's not capable of that.

Mate, I don't rate Phillips as highly in fact I prefer Jy plays in the middle.

But subbing him off had a dramatic impact on the stoppage structures. Shiels was not enough leadership nor could he get his hands on the footy. We could barely win a clearance.

I'd rather Phillips go in there with his clean inside work ability than Shiels trying his absolute best to hold Daicos whom the umpires were watching like hawks.

We can't just try to defend, in order to beat them you need to attack and win the ball. Phillips was doing that the whole time. Poor decision to sub.

Clarko made a mistake.
