Whilst he's far from perfect (as evident from last year's Ashes), it's a shame Boland couldn't get a crack when he was a bit younger, but I guess that's reflective on the quality of the fast bowling stocks we've had.

Last year, England had the right idea when facing Boland by making his predictability an advantage for them.

As great as our pace attack is firing on all cylinders India's second innings in the first Test would make me very nervous to risk them losing their line and length for a period and not having a Test class spinner to vary the bowling a bit. While we have demonstrated we can skittle India I think we've also demonstrated if they can get momentum going in bat friendly conditions they can feast on our quicks.
