Impact looked on middle to me when I first saw it.

Because it’s a 135km/h projectile that only hit the batsman close to in line with leg stump (it was closer to middle and leg) because it moved appreciably more off the pitch than what a lot of us probably saw to the naked eye, would be my guess

If you believe the figure. Can’t say I do, plenty of spare seats on TV and 50,800 when it only holds 53,00. Not sure I’m completely buying it

Statistically there is no bowler in the era of covered wickets that is better, based on what he has managed so far.
He averages 17 in India for f**ks sake.
If he maintains what he has done to date, over a long enough sample size to get to, say, 350-400 test wickets, he walks into an all time test XI as far as I’m concerned.
The only fast bowlers in the conversation with him from the last 70 years are Lillee, Marshall, Ambrose and Steyn based on his career to date.
