Think his shockers stand out much more then others because of his speed he often finds plenty of space before he kicks so it looks extra bad.
Not to mention he gets it 40 times a game so is therefore more likely to have a bad one through sheer volume. Even if he goes at 90% that is still 4 bad ones a game

He should just be given the instruction to get it outside to Martin, Merrett, Langford or Redman (even stringer, Caldwell or Durham).

He is also now more likely to get a bit of protection at the stoppages and not feel as pressured to bomb it.

Yeah I think Parish is where Merrett was a couple of years ago. Can’t seperate what’s best for the team/winning and what’s best for him getting as many kicks as possible.

Hopefully strong leadership from Merrett drags him into a more team focused game.

Doesn't he already do this ? I think you will find that he only bombs it in as his last option..

I wish he went at 90% :p
Goes at 60% for kicking and has averaged 14 to 16 kicks a game over the last 3 years so it ends up roughly 6 ineffective kicks a game which would be pretty standard for most midfielders.

That's 60% because a kick inside 50 goes 40m not because it gets anywhere near a target.

Where's that come from?

The way our midfield is going I'd be surprised if we keep him passed 2024. If the younger players come on we probably won't need him any more.

He comes into a team with a confident Martin, Hobbs and Caldwell, if we can find the right balance rotating them through we become a super strong team.

I heard a stat, we have 14 more goals than any other team from center bounce, that's a great stat.
Finding that mix will be Scott's biggest challenge imho. Add in Shiel as another rotation if/when he returns and midfield problems really start to challenge us

Has undergone a pretty drastic physical transformation in the last couple of years, he’s no longer puppy fat with no definition.

Ps, Reid is an absolutely absurd physical specimen. Give him all the time in the world.

For real. Parish is ripped. And Reid is getting bigger and bigger! He’ll be Mason Cox by 2025.
