It's at least 5 years, with the option of a sixth being explained to the footballing public - or not being explained.

These deals create excellent flexibility for the club and I think we will see more of them in the years to come.

It's good you don't, yet there is plenty who do, as this is just the latest thing in a line of actions the club takes that seems to indicate a want to keep members in the dark. Mostly based around PR and wanting to be seen a certain way.

It's not some earth shattering thing in isolation,
but it's a major contract for a key player.
Stop with the games, Announce the details properly, it's really quite simple.
