Had my first look at him yesterday.

His size is unreal. Pictures don't do justice to how much more solid he is compared to say a Harry Sheezel or Jackson Archer. Given that he has the entire year to work on his fitness base, I think we should be expecting him to be ready to go from round one next year. If he keeps any of the speed and explosiveness from his draft highlights, then look out.

I love the direction Rawlings has us going in with taking these freak strength athletes like Goater, Dawson and now George.

You can probably throw Curtis into that group as well. I'm not sure if his physical profile was a factor in why we drafted him, but his core strength for a second-year player is absurd.

EDIT: Logue too. Maybe it was a case of the best available KPD option, but this guy is seriously a freak. He made Bonar look small when the two were working together in drills.
Agree, on Curtis these Polynesian types are a different athletic specimen in terms of power and strength. I hav ever rarely seen Vlaustin outmarked one on one, Paul did it as a first year. Just different specimens

Sometimes a talented player with absolutely **** all between the ears in intellectual terms comes along. De Goey is one example. In the Prem, Grealish is another one. And I think this lad is another, going by the fact that he had two spelling errors on his self-composed draft blackboard profile, including a misspelling of the name of his own U18s team. They're great lads to have around, as they generally bring a lot of energy and rarely get in their own way on field due to the fact that they barely have the capacity to overthink things. Looking forward to seeing him play on instinct

I have no idea about how smart he is, but spelling is a pretty stupid way to assess the intelligence of a person.

I like your posts mate, but this one is a bit unfair. I know some very smart people who also happen to be dyslexic. Dunno if our bloke is, but deducing ones intelligence from their spelling is misguided.

This is a much nicer response than I was going to post. Seriously bad take on one of our new recruits.

This kid has all the makings of becoming a cult hero at North. A big leaping goal kicker and an endearing personality is the perfect mix.
Can he take a speccy can he?
Love that.

With Garner & Daw moving on it’s pretty much just Zurhaar we have in the team now that would have a shot at winning the car.

Based on the footage I've seen of him last year he seems to have a great vertical leap and good hands. I'm not sure about him taking rides, but who knows? He is also supposed to be a good kick for goal.
