Probably but the board wouldn't be complete otherwise.

What's the go for 2023?

Has he improved enough to the point where he can be a credible emergency bordering on debut worthy or is he first in the firing line?

Entering his 3rd season with 0 league games, and being a rookie, very much a make or break season for Smith.

he's an interesting athletic package but i think he might just be a little bit on the light side to ever make it as a defender. it's a bit hard to really know unless he gets a look in if we have a couple of injuries to our smaller defenders. but like you say after a third year as a rookie with no games under his belt, then he might get moved on.
