That's ridiculous. Not only are they not ashamed of their club's actions, they're condoning it.

That doesn't surprise me one bit.

My hatred for Essendope has risen exponentially not only because of the club, but it's fans. I've never seen anything like it. I know it's easy to generalize but so many of them are so delusional and dedicated to the Cult of Hird...

No-one really knows... first they deny that the it was a light bulb, then question whether it was working or not, deny that they had any responsibility in changing the light bulb, and finally state that "as there are no records of said light bulb change, the aforementioned lightbulb must have been changed appropriately by the appropriate number of people... even though we don't know how many that is."

I suspect they don't know because their heads are so firmly inserted into Hird's arse (yes, including sombrero) that they didn't have a clear view.
