I think the kicking action is deceptive. He looks like he has a very high ball drop, which is associated with poor kicking technique. But he doesn't lift the ball high then drop it, rather he guides the ball onto his boot with good technique, just from a height. He gets his head over the ball too, he doesn't fall backwards as he kicks it like many players with high ball drops tend to do.He is going to find it tough against good key defendrs in his early years, but you could see there today, if they give him the slightest latitude he will make them pay very quickly.
