you're a massive utensil.

also, bull midfielders don't need speed.
Yeah try surviving in modern day footy without some speed

Have to be a gun like Tom Mitchell or Bont and I’m afraid to tell u that Jack Graham ain’t that

I hope he proves me wrong though

He has the nous, but no speed to keep up with the smart or fast midfielders. Looked like he was caught out of position a lot this year , but it was that one yard too slow. Played his best footy in the wet so he’s our 1976 Melbourne Cup winner in Van der Hum . If we make the GF and it pisses down we put him on the park.

What is the evidence for JGTI playing his best footy in the wet?

Seems to me his highest rating games each season bar none are in dry weather games.

I think your ageing mind has figmented this TI. ;)

He clocked 34kmh in 2020.
In a straight line at full tilt he is not slow at all, but I doubt he is doing that now, but he has a slow turning circle. His feet around the contest are slow. Joel Selwood was slow but very quick feet, Cotch had that 5m surge of speed, Graham is a straight line player which is okay for the high half forward role he plays, but not much chop as a midfielder.

My mind ain’t ageing so on that account your post is null and void. Or in my language bullshit. 😂

Graham is a fine role player & a very valuable one to a team competing. I think Port really ****ed up not targeting Graham along with Soldo. He is exactly what they need. Both Soldo & Graham would have added real testicles to their team & Graham is the type of player you can give a big job to in a PF or GF & know he will do it. He is a shit Home & Away player. He honestly needs to spend his career playing for top 4 teams and he will be like Robert Horry and win 7 flags & never be a consistent starter. No shame in that career, at all. You should be playing sport to win.

If i was a coach that considered my team a top 4 fancy, Jack Graham would be one of the first players i would try to get. He would be considerably cheap, but he will be in your best in your teams biggest finals matches

Hmmm. I'm not so sure about that. While I think that he played reasonably well in our finals from 2017 to 2020, the only outstanding finals game he played was the 2017 GF.

When was that time recorded? At 10:25am hauling arse to Macca's to order a dozen bacon McMuffin meals before the daytime menu kicks in?

34kmh. If he was skinny you’d be saying how fast he is but needs to bulk up. He’s a big lump that can run and knows what to do with it. That’s why he’s made a couple of premiership sides.

Pushing the memory bank a bit, I think they were backs by the time I remember them.
Great wingers Clay Barrot Bourke great centerline

Of which the last one was 3 years ago and his form has nosedived sharply since then. On his recent form he won't make a third premiership side.

But let’s post about him only running fast to get Big Macs . Pretty pathetic but I see you saw it that it was worth liking.

I tell you he looked a lot better this year with ball in hand compared to the other midfield types than he ever has. Made you realise that our synergy has dissinsynergized and it ain’t Jack’s doing .. Jack Graham that is.

34kmh is 34kmh.The way people talk about him on here is that he can barely break into a jog.
No you don’t understand physics. I can run 40km/h over 2m, but can run only a 100m in 20sec which is 18 km/h. Did he run this speed from a stationary position or did he have an initial velocity when it was recorded? Unless you understand basic kinematics the notion he ran 34km/h without any other data is useless and only satisfies the ignorant.

Yes I don’t understand physics. Buy you are doing ok. Because the fastest a human has been clocked is 43km/h .. that was Bolt mid point of his 100m.
I’m sure if you were clocked in an AFL game you wouldn’t get a time of 40km/h no matter what you did unless you fell off a grandstand.
Fastest a player got clocked in the grand final was Charlie Cameron at 33.3km.

What do you want from the stat ? He got up to 34km in 2020. When did it happen .. probably when he was chasing someone or running to the ball out in the open. Who cares.
My brains starting to hurt on this one tiger.

Again you are still showing your ignorance on the topic as Charlie was clocked 33.3km/h over a distance and that's how he was clocked that speed . If you study their motion-time graphs you will be able to see greater speeds than 33.3km/h on numerous players graphs.
So you don't know the details yet you're trying to make a case. Again the Bolt case is irrelevant here as it provides no information on how JGTI velocity was measured.
IF I fell off a grandstand assuming vertically bc that would give me my maximum speed as all my potential energy would be converted to Kinetic energy then my maximum speed as i touched the haloed turf would be V=square root of (2gh). The height of the MCG is 45m and gravity is around 10m/s2. So velocity is comes to 30m/s = 108km/h, but i'd have my arse planted in the ground and wouldn't be of much use as I'd have no horizontal motion.;)
So we then do the calculation as a projectile motion off the grandstand which gives a maximum velocity when projected so you hit ground at 45degrees, but unfortunately for JGTI this requires the projectile to be moving.:) So again your analysis is of no use to me.
