I like the pick in isolation. List balance is way off though.

Not sure why we'd re sign Colina with all these talls coming in.
Could be part of Balta's contract negotiations. 1 more year.

Could also be to avoid lawsuits against the club for how Louie Meehan crippled him all these years.

I really like Sims, but suddenly our developing talls are Ryan, OHB, Colina, LeFau, Grey, Faull, Armstrong, Bauer Fawcett and Sims.

Some will play ruck, some will be in the Seniors and some (e.g. Grey) probably get shifted back; but I still wonder if that’s too many talls?

I suspect that the lack of additional draft capital made it difficult to facilitate a move for an F1 (teams would want something back) and the club always wanted to trade back; but looking at the selections available there wasn’t an obvious partner.
It prob is but our marking ability was leagues worst , we’ve clearly addressed that

Fair bit of max gawn about this kid , good get

Wonder if our new forward line will be poking at MRJ and Hotton aka LotG

We tall. 👀

When I first saw this pick, Tom Sim - Key Forward, I was like wtf?! :confusedv1: But, now that I've read more about him, he's actually a 200cm Ruck/Forward, exactly what we need! He is so nibble, skillful and tall, they are attributes rarely listed for the same player. Going off all the different highlights I've seen of the kid, he doesn't look fleet of foot but he certainly has a decent vertical leap on him.

With Nank are only capable ruck option, I think we'll see a lot of him in a few years, even if a miracle occurs and Ryan finally steps up. He also looks like he'll give our tow new key position forwards a little competition and depth too.

We really are re-imagining our side with a play-maker mid/forward, inside oversized bull, outside x-factor rover, a talented intercept marking defender, aggro key forward target, leading marking key, a huge agile ruck forward and a hungry goal sneak.

We're ticked a lot of boxes already with two more stars to come in next year. It's great to be Tigers atm!

OHB & Colina are Cat B and don't even have to play VFL level. Grey, Blight, Fawcett can't be sticking around beyond 2025. Maybe the club has no confidence in Lynch, Lefau, Young and Gibcus getting on the park, despite new fitness guy.

Mad to sign Ryan for 3 more .
