Pope has remained in the squad but with that shoulder injury and iffy form to start the series, could make way and allow them to get the specialist keeper in the side. The performances behind the stumps has been a crucial element to the 2-0 scoreline. Carey has been pretty much flawless throughout, Bairstow has been less flawless.

Just noticed he's not in the squad, Dan Lawrence is the only backup batsman. So I take it all back, not interesting at all. Looks clear that Pope will play and they're going to keep backing Bairstow with the gloves.
