Wait, surely Warney or anyone isn’t actually saying there is any demons in this pitch at all? Yet to see a single wicket due to a ball doing anything out of the ordinary off this pitch for 5 days!!!
Yeah Warne wouldn't shut up about it around the time we got the new ball. He was saying there's plenty of demons in the pitch and the only reason it didn't look like it is because of the old ball.

Can't say I've seen much since the new ball...

3rd umpire articulating his thoughts to everyone watching is interesting but also surprising, especially when he says "Yeah I'm not sure...".

Spoken like someone who doesn't watch NRL :D

Poor old Bruce doesn't seem to be sure about much. I do agree with his call this time though. Pity Paine has to glove one when it's not out :)

Part of batting is running. Do bowlers get a replacement when they do a hammy?
The physical action of running is a relatively small part of batting, which is why the laws allow a runner.

From a spectator’s perspective is a shame to kill a very interesting game just because one of the batsman cannot physically take the runs his shots have earned.

Not a howler. Within mm of glove. Stop being a w***er.

Batsman doesn’t hit it, gets given out is exactly why DRS was brought in to prevent those howlers. But instead we focus on whether 49.9% or 50.1% of the ball is clipping the stumps...
