They do, and they will.I couldn't agree with this less. Who honestly cares if they don't think they can get Carey out?
... and has missed an awful lot of tests due to injury because of the strain of bowling 140km off 15 steps.Bumrah has been knicking off our top 3 for fun... And he bowls of 15 steps.
Sure. Problem is, the test simply isn't going to go that long. On this surface - a surface that is this good to bat on - you're simply not going to take the requisite wickets quickly enough to 20 wickets inside 2 days. You know what's good for confidence? Winning! But we are showing no interest in trying to do that.
If it's not raining, that is.Anyone who underestimates the mental aspect of cricket should watch and learn here. India are starting to get ragged, by Australia batting on it only enforces that. Getting tail enders out who aren’t sacrificing their wicket is tedious and mentally draining.
When they go in to bat if they loose a couple quickly the walls will close in
It's not T20, this is real cricket. It is called a Test for a reason.
Australia are making sure only one team can win this.
If you don't understand the wear and tear on a bowler over a series, well I don't know what to say to you.

Honestly... F*** me... We bowled 80 overs for the entire test in Adelaide, which finished 8 days ago. There is another 8 day break before Boxing Day starts. It's not T20, this is real cricket. It is called a Test for a reason.

With so much rain around, I still think that enforcing the follow on is the best chance of a winHonestly... F*** me... We bowled 80 overs for the entire test in Adelaide, which finished 8 days ago. There is another 8 day break before Boxing Day starts.
These are supposedly professional athletes. If we are doing this to protect/mollycoddle them then we have a serious problem.
We "might" be making sure only one team can win. But we're also not giving that team the best opportunity to do so.

Hard to believe it's been nearly half a century since AB made his debut and you could probably argue nobody his been more influential than him over that time.I love hearing BJ and AB on commentary together, takes me back 15 years to the old Fox Sports days
Don’t worry about the rain, if only one team can win, it changes the outlook of batsmen. Batting to survive is an art that has been lost.If it's not raining, that is.
Where's the harm in actually trying though? This is boring as bat-sh1t.They do, and they will.

Because that's what you'd have to do to win this match; declare immediately, and bowl them out inside 200 before today is over, leaving 2 full days to bowl for victory. Don't think that's going to happen, sorry.

You think the bolwers have been overly exerted in the first 2 tests?
If you are bored you don't have to watch. I hear the hit and giggle BB is back on, sounds like more your level.Where's the harm in actually trying though? This is boring as bat-sh1t.
Hahaha cluelessYou think the bolwers have been overly exerted in the first 2 tests?
Update.... We're still batting... And SFA is happening... Yay
