There's no opportunity left. It's done. Go in 1-1 to Melbourne.Genuine think its a missed opportunity tomorrow if Australia come out and plod 40 off the first 10 overs. If that happens, then its game over- a draw.
Given the pressure Khawaja, Marnus and McSweeney and the lack of flex from Aus management, I cant see it happening.

530 wickets says yes.Any point a playing a spinner in Australia they never seem to do anything here
The half hearted short balls are much easier for tail enders to score off.I have been critical of the short ball in the past... Today what would you have them do... The ball is doing sweet **** all. Pitch it up and they would have been just as untroubled.
Not enough time in the day and Cummins and McDonald are not stokes or McCullummWhy not have a little dash and put alot dangle in front of the Indians?
He has taken the same amount of wickets as Lyon has this seriesRemind me why Marsh is in the team....to bat AND bowl....but he hardly bowls. Hazelwood out of game (and series) so Australia are a bowler down and looking cooked and tired....this is when Marsh should be bought on to bowl..but he hasn't yet. He offers nothing......at all. Disgraceful. Why do they keep picking him.....so that the "Bison" can take miracle catches?.......and yes I live in Perth, WA..
So?Being ignored by some that we still hold an almost 200 lead.
He is close mates with Pat Cummins. Always been a boys club at Cricket Australia.Remind me why Marsh is in the team....to bat AND bowl....but he hardly bowls. YesDo West Australians live in bizzaro world? No logic from any of their comments.
I think that’s being lenient though. You’re telling me they ran out of steam right as 10 and 11 came in despite this being a very common occurrence in past series? Can only bowl so long in hot, humid conditions. Badly needed another bowler.
Why not have a little dash and put alot dangle in front of the Indians?
...or with a gettable target India could even pinch the win.We just spent an hour trying to take the 10th wicket.
There’s also 23mm of rain predicted for tomorrow. We may not even get 2 sessions.
How many in Australia530 wickets says yes.
It's ultimately been a pretty solid effort, just not to be with the rain delays. The first part of that is getting lost on some given the last hour.Being ignored by some that we still hold an almost 200 lead.
Absolutely. Their batting lineup can score incredibly quickly if they actually remember which end of the bat to hold....or with a gettable target India could even pinch the win.
261.How many in Australia
How many in Australia
They needed most to be in to stop singles, just aim top of off stump, and make them take a risk to score. The half hearted short balls are much easier for tail enders to score off.
Using ODI tactics when the bowlers aren’t fresh is beyond stupid, especially when there was definitely still a little in the pitch. If they get the runs with us pitching it up then well played but trying to buy tail end wickets is such negative captaincy.
