Dimma can't move onstill cant believe what dumma did and is still doing to our club
No one has an issue with him going to GCS, just do it properly- request a trade, nominate for FA , whatever it is that’s appropriate for a senior player coming out of contract.I have no issue with Dusty trying to make some extra money at GC. He owes us absolutely nothing and I am happy he can earn more because he was not paid nearly his full value at our club. Without Dusty we would have never won 3 flags.
i guess we wait and see where it goes. But in reality, we always knew GC were gonna knock on his doorThat’s what I’m thinking as apparently a poster earlier mentioned Benny said he was retiring from the RFC.
Can't let him back in 2 1/2 years time or so for the 10 year reunion, at the very least he would be going to the marketing department to see if there are any new toys worth playing with.Dimma can't move on
2 things. He may not have signed the appropriate paperwork yet, particularly if he knew he was going to do this.
Secondly, do you think the AFL won't make a hasty change to the rules if they can get Dusty up to their GC franchise?
Let's see if he is still at the suns by then. Can't let him back in 2 1/2 years time or so for the 10 year reunion, at the very least he would be going to the marketing department to see if there are any new toys worth playing with.
Like a stock market crash
Love a Daily Mail link – cant click em fast enoughDimma had a very accurate crystal ball in may 2022. He got the northern club wrong but still pretty close. Sounds like it's been in the pipeline for a very long time.
Tiger's coach Damien Hardwick won't stop Dusty Martin moving to Sydney
Richmond Tigers coach Damien Hardwick has made a stunning statement that he will not block Dustin Martin if he wants to move to Sydney and the star can switch clubs with his blessingwww.dailymail.co.uk
it's just a marketing pitch and another tick for DH ego.i guess we wait and see where it goes. But in reality, we always knew GC were gonna knock on his door
Well explained and I see it as you do that no paperwork has been done. His manager would've been onto that already. If he hasn’t lodged the paperwork he’s an unrestricted free agent so that works in Dusty’s favour.
If he has retired and lodged the necessary paperwork, best guess is that the AFL would do similar to what they did with Liam Jones post-COVID and re-Instate him as a free agent.
Most likely the club hasn’t updated their list yet (not required to do so until the first List Lodgement which is likely to be 31 October); and that 17c clause El Jefe quoted was put in place mainly around the MSD so I wouldn’t be surprised if Dusty hasn’t lodged it.
Regardless, if he were to go to Gold Coast it’d be as an unrestricted free agent whichever pathway.

It's true though isn't it? He's doesn't owe us anything.Agreed but it's just a series of quotes from a presser. I remember him saying he's paid Richmond back and Richmond owes him nothing multiple times. He knew Dustin was going to do this years ago.
I really think that you can only put a statue up at Punt Rd for a player that ends his career at the Tigers. No way statue goes up if he goes to shit coast
Will you take locally brewed Carlsberg?
This won't change FS eligibility, (as long as they don't end up in some academy bullshit) so still all good.I don’t think I’d let Dusty shag my wife anymore.
He should’ve cashed the ticket when he could.
