Lyon is a “drop” bowler, you want turn then Trav’s who should be on.

Skull tells a great story about how Rod Marsh and Doug Walters took him on a brewery tour in Adelaide the day before a test match back in the 70s saying they would just have a couple of beers which turned into an all afternoon/night drinking session.

He was hungover as f*** while experienced drinkers like Rod and Dougie were used to it, to make it worse they had to bowl first.

I think that was the day that Thommo did his shoulder so Skull had to bowl more overs than usual too, those were the days.

When he went to NZ on what he thought was his last chance tour he knocked back a night at the bar with Dougie & Co on favour of a night at the flicks with Stacky.

As he slid back in after the show, Dougie was waiting for him “What flavour milkshake did you have at intermission?”
