In the 6th over.Looking forward to a short ball barrage with everyone on the boundary
With the appropriate field sure.Whilst I don’t want to see a barrage, with the inconsistent bounce getting pretty bad late yesterday, some good short ball bowling will be handy.
Five meat pies in the lunch roomFive what? Five minutes for a toilet break?
Long time listener, Jim has never been a favourite but now he just seems to be a fair way off the pace so to speak. That's a very general, non-specific observation though, what is exactly wrong with his commentary? As I said, it sounded okay to me. (I've listened to him for a long time too).
Sounds like hes got indigestion rather than an injuryFive meat pies in the lunch room
Or maybe, like those of us lucky enough to live long enough, he just got to an age where he doesn't really GAF about what others think of him anymore.I recall that Jim Maxwell had some form of medical incident (stroke?) which may have led to him being less inhibited in what he chooses to say.
No. We don'tThey don't need to win they just need to not lose.
We need to win.
Lets see his body language.....Expecting big things from Mitch Starc today. He has declared himself fit. Every bowler will have some type of niggle this late in the test series.

Like wearing ugg boots up the shopsOr maybe, like those of us lucky enough to live long enough, he just got to an age where he doesn't really GAF about what others think of him anymore.
He's not young, 74 rising 75.Long time listener, Jim has never been a favourite but now he just seems to be a fair way off the pace so to speak.
Ian Maurice is your reference point?
He read the sports update on WWOS for years and hosted some radio shows so he’s a laws of cricket and biomechanics expert.
Oh well that changes everything.
The opinion of actual cricket people doesn’t matter.
In Bear We Trust. Hail.
Oh, and a journalist writing on behalf of a nation who’s cricket hero was subject to his own speculation on the legality of his action his entire career and probably seeks some sort of ‘well what about this guy’ retribution. No no I’m sure there’s no element of that to it.
F**k me dead. Grow a spine, accept that the guy is just too good, and deal with it.
Could he fulfil an all rounders spot? He's not young, 74 rising 75.
I've never been much of an ABC listener so can't really comment on his abilities as a broadcaster but there comes a time when you've just gotta admit that your best days are behind you.
I read his book only 2 weeks ago for the first time just out of curiosity, nothing spectacular there but a decent enough read.
Win, loss, draw, Cripps Brownlow votes?Just letting everyone know, all 4 results are still in play
Did you know Konstas is 19?Just letting everyone know, all 4 results are still in play
India should go T20 mode I reckon.
