Ian Maurice is your reference point?

He read the sports update on WWOS for years and hosted some radio shows so he’s a laws of cricket and biomechanics expert.

Oh well that changes everything.

The opinion of actual cricket people doesn’t matter.

In Bear We Trust. Hail.

Oh, and a journalist writing on behalf of a nation who’s cricket hero was subject to his own speculation on the legality of his action his entire career and probably seeks some sort of ‘well what about this guy’ retribution. No no I’m sure there’s no element of that to it.

F**k me dead. Grow a spine, accept that the guy is just too good, and deal with it.
Or.... Maybe YOU should accept there's a reason his stats are so good. Just as there's a reason Murali took so .any wickets

That's the first time I've ever seen Bumrah look irritated.

That stare he gave Lyon wasn't "I beat you!", it was "Why did you waste my time?" His pace was down in that over, and that wicket ball took a visible effort; he's getting tired.

Hmmm...

Australia used no roller and now India have chosen the light roller... interesting...
Hmm that is strange

The teams must have diametrically opposite theories about what will favour batting/bowling

Right.

Put your money where your mouth is.

Tell everyone where in the rules he breaks them. Stop hiding behind a journalist and your own inability to accept that a foreign bowler, especially one from India, could do what he’s been doing to your beloved team, and show everyone.

If you genuinely believe it and have studied it and have a case:

Present it.

Show the world.

As stupidly incorrect as he’s been, at least Grumbleguts has gotten out the old protractor and tried to show why he’s right, even if he’s arguing against a rule that doesn’t exist.

Excuse me for expressing and justifying my opinion that the accommodation for Murali has opened up a can of worms and will be exploited even more than it is now in the future. That's what a discussion forum is all about. Sharing our opinions even if they're sometimes unpopular. Otherwise, all you have is an endless circle jerk.

I'm sure I said somewhere that the ICC have tested Bumrah and found he straightens it less than 15 degrees. I'm just saying the accommodation for Murali which allows 15 degrees is excessive and we are going to see a lot more of this type of bowler who off a short hop, skip and jump of a run can generate 90 mph plus and thus bowl long spells. Massive advantage.
