Not sure if it was the first or second time that Melb Victory were playing a home match in Geelong and those in charge completely ****ed up - 35c+ day & the crowd easily at 50% capacity and they'd only opened 2 food & drink outlets
They very quickly ran out of cold drinks (especially water), so at halftime the line at the servo just half a block away was massive and pretty sure they sold out of cold drinks that could be taken back into the stadium

Early call but we (Australia) are not going to win this. Pitch is too good and not getting wickets with the new ball.
It must be hell being a spinner these days when the pitch doesn’t break up. It use to be that day 4 and 5 the spinners would come into the game. Now it’s roads as far as the eye can see because if not the other team complains. The SCG pitch was brilliant the break up and spin would test all batters. AB, getting wickets, Warne spinning it a mile. The MCG getting lower and lower every day. Honestly I can’t stand the tests these days, it’s like tennis just baseline rallies waiting for a mistake.

Stat on triple m this morning that about 1 in 3 outside edges result in wickets in Australia, this test has had 5 wickets from 73 edges. MCG Pitch is so strange....
