Moral of the story is that when trying to save a test match especially when you have it just about sewn up is not to invite any pressure. Australia didn’t kick the door bown but Pant did it for them and this Bowling attack is good an experienced enough to go for the kill. It was actually great work from the Aussies to not allow Jadeja/reddy settle in either.

Jaiswal’s wicket isn’t Pant level bad but it was also massive **** up as he just didn’t have to play that ball or any attacking shots.

Thought all the bowlers were brilliant today. Cummins is an absolute GOAT, Starc was lyon hearted and boland was brilliant with his cultch wickets. Lyon also came into the game strongly when there was blood in the water.

I was thinking that a possible way to get Jaiswal would be to let him get close to a 100 so he starts playing a few shots with the prize in sight.

Was a strange looking lineup, but really Reddy and Washington were chosen as batsman ahead of Gill. They barely bowled more than Marsh and Head and to be fair to them, they were two of their best batsman in the first innings.

Their biggest issue is the guy who should have been dropped is their captain. And the guy who should have been next in line to be dropped is seen as a god.

To me it looked like India handed the game to Australia in that 90 odd minutes of self destruction. Losing 7 wickets in quick time....poor.
