OK, I'm going to try to give you a pretty reasoned response even though you didn't tag me .

It's the latter . Watch the replay a few times and use your experience playing ( if you did ) . It's a classic off the glove deflection from a hook/pull shot down the leg side.
It probably even glanced the the splice on the way through .
Watch the trajectory of the ball from contact to the keeper .
It slows up at point of where it did/would make contact from the glove.

It's not unusual that he may not have felt this . The gloves now around the thumb are pretty solid so even a half decent contact with him swivelling around as the ball come past may not register with him.

100% no doubt he was out .
Yeah good response

Showed more patience than I was capable of.

Your decision these been a bit of conjecture on these boards day 5.
Jaiswal dismissal day 5 hooking given not out reviewed.
Your decisions?
A= not out
B= Inconclusive umpires call
C= overturn out
Replays probably up onyou tube or fox by now.
I'll happily shut up.and accept their call
For the record I think inconclusive and should've stayed not out.

It appears to graze the bat but no way you over turn it on that vision. And I'm biased against batsmen.
There was no deflection. Check your glasses or comment when sober.
Granted the whole match was riddled with bad decisions but to overturn that on day 5 was horse shit.
Mate you are an idiot

Watching it now. What deflection? Maybe by 1 mm. Your eyes are playing tricks
You're either a poor troll or a f**king imbecile. Watch until they show ball tracking and tell me it didn't deviate.

I would overturn it.

Conclusive evidence doesn’t have to exclude what you can see with your eyes. You regularly hear third umpires say ‘ok clear gap between bat and pad no need for RTS’ or ‘clear deflection’ etc so as far as I was concerned there was a very small but clear deflection. I had no problem with it

D) That's enough beers for today

It's fine, we've all been there. Cuppa and straight to bed should sort you out.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned here yet, but Rohit said in the press conference that the team strategy was to go for the win in the last session, hence Pant and Jaiswal teeing off. Absolutely idiotic stuff, basically asking to get the sack with tactics like that when they were no chance of getting those runs.

Not sure what he said in the actual presser but in the post match interview with Isa he said they wanted to win from the start and try to conserve wickets to go for the win but I don’t think At any stage he mentioned that he thought they got themselves in a position to actually do it - ie. yes win at the start if we could get to lunch relatively unscathed but we didn’t so from there it was draw the game

Yeah, look, he trolls the Collingwood board from time to time. Definitely not one of us.
You should get better lawyers, what a cretin.

Maybe I've tagged 3 random thou who seem to know their stuff. I'm interested in what they say.
Not out/umpires call/overturned out?
Maybe my eyes are playing tricks. I'm calling it inconclusive umpires call and not out

Disappointed you forgot me.

A clear deflection, could only be from the bat/glove, out.

So C it is.

**** off idiot. I posted one opinion which I'm happy to be corrected on. And all the ****wits on this board attack me rather than debate the game.
Not attacking you at all buddy - it's clear you hit the sauce a bit hard today and your basic understanding of physics, moving images etc is not as strong as it would usually be.

Random fact: Joel Wilson is the first umpire to have 100 player reviews successfully overturn his decisions. This was from the India v England series earlier in the year too
