I never want to see David Myers pull the Essendon jumper on again at AFL level. Adds nothing, slow, kicks the ball 50 odd meters but to nothing, no good overhead. For a bloke with a "big body" he doesn't use it.

It makes me ****ing sick to my stomach to see Zac Clarke pull on the jumper that I have barracked and been a member with since I was a kid.

We are a terrible football side with zero structure, we have no leadership and we are so much better than what we producing.

Once again far too much was left to far too few.
For whatever reason as collective I really don't think this group can find that killer instinct that's needed to be a side that is truly in contention.

We are carrying a lot of players who really shouldn't be playing, and even our better players have some serious flaws or limitations to their game.
Our game plan seem basically non-existent, and we seem to try and stick to 'structure' regardless of whether it is working, or whether we have the cattle to make it work.

Merrett worked is arse off, Fantasia was good in front of goal, Heppell worked hard (disposal decision making was crap), McGrath was pretty good as were Saad and Redmond. McKena had a good last qtr, Stringer was pretty good (work on your damn goal kicking), TBC was in and out of the game.
SHiel had a shocker and I'm assuming Smith is still injured.

Our backline didn't seem to click all game and once again our defensive run and pressure was subpar.

Pretty confident in saying at best we'll just be making up the numbers again this year. Time to stop giving games to the likes of Myers, Baguley and Zaka, and see which of the younger guys actually have AFL attributes before sorting the list out

Bell tolling for the Worsfold regime I think. We’re a very average side. We’ve beaten Brisbane and two horrible teams in Melbourne and North.
Sydney at 1-6 and we can’t get over them.

Average side with a great list profile. Of course the jungle drums should be beating on Woosha

We are a shit football Club!
We stand for nothing! the list is very good.
Once again season over before round 10.
We have no structure and no game style. After we lose to the bottom side, our pathetic excuse for a captain, is laughing. Sums it up!
Our club is an absolute laughing stock.
I’m the most disappointed I have been, in my 26 years as an Essendon Member. And that says something.
