I reckon some beers will be gulped quite hastily at the start of each innings throughout Sam's career.

I was for about 3 innings, which tells you how successful I was at it...

I was good at it, I could survive against the new ball and knew how to defend and leave, it was either open or bat with the tail.

I was lucky I had a Konstas or Warner type at the other end to score the runs I struggled to make.
