I couldn't say. I steer clear of social media in terms of sports posting. Saw a handful from an Australian perspective early on in the season & all I saw was hate & racism.
I steer clear. Most of the hate comes from the shallow end of gene pool. I doubt it matters which country you follow or come from.
Only telling part of the story. I suggest you go back over the years and note all the incidents other countries have been involved in, and there have been plenty, believe me. Just hating Australia isn't the full story.

Umpires can do something. It's knowing when to step - each umpire could interpret situation differently.
All that needs to happen is the umpires just tell batsman to get on with it.

Of course not. Australian cricketers have to be literally perfect sportsmen and if they dare not just be submissive, probably pissing away a series in the process, while India take a combative approach, then we'll just have to live with that.
After all, what good are results if we're not playing with a level of morality and kindness not expected from our opposition?
They ought to give Konstas a 12-month ban for backing up his partner. Frankly, he should have had a crack at Usman along with Bumrah in the ultimate display of sportsmanship and celebrated his unplaybale straight half volley along with the Indian team, and he failed miserably. The model Australian cricketer would have asked Bumrah to take his shoe off to kiss his foot, and I don't even expect that of him.

The bolded in particular is a ridiculous attitude and I'd like to hope it's not consistent with your attitude in the world outside of cricket.
Do you think young workers should just cop jibes from their older colleagues and keep their mouths shut in the workplace? How about in social sports? Or if they get involved in a community group or political party? In those environments do you should they just keep their mouths shut and it's okay for other people to hang shit on them?
If the answer is no, you're being hypocritical. If the answer is yes, then you're not the person I thought you were.

It's really coming across as a few old men on here who don't enjoy watching youthful exuberance & confidence. Sam's living his dream & having fun doing it.
I think it's been refreshing to watch & made this test much more interesting. I can't wait for tomorrow.

not this nonsense again ffs. This is a uniquely Indian problem. Bangladesh and Pakistan have about 400 million fans between them, with similar social media penetration to India. How many of their fans send death and rape threats to opposition players and their families? F**k all, yet Indians send not only one or two but absolutely flood social media with their crap. You just cannot compare them to any other fanbase.
