Smith does everything wrong from a technique point of view, and always has. His judgement and preparation are incredible though so it works for him.Smith trying to show us that footwork is overrated with that lofted cover drive (if you could call it that)
Thats deflected off one of Tony Greigs old pensHow’s the movement. Unplayable
But he didn't.Purely by riding his luck, mistime the ramp shot swing and Bumrah would have cleaned him up.
Hit the corner of CrackCam….Thats deflected off one of Tony Greigs old pens
Ha ha I like it.decent conditionsIncredible opportunity for Webster if he wants to take it.
Decent conditions. No time pressure. Batting with the 2nd greatest on his way to 10,000.
Correct - definitely too late to correct it based on the previous result.
Was it India who switched pitches very last minute for a game recently? Not sure if it was the World Cup or something else. That type of approach may have made sense (but we don't tend to do that morally here unlike India would).
... yes, I do. I've played rather a lot of turf cricket mate, and I've seen pitches go from roads to minefields and vice versa in that time.
I'm not sure about that. Uzzie maybe, but Labs has made three important 50s this series and Smith has made two tonnes.
Konstas can attack for sure, but he's far from a finished product (which is a given due to his age).
I had to google that. I thought you were saying ‘just **** off’
But he didn't.
He hasn't got out to a crazy aggressive shot yet either. Bowled and caught behind from regulation drives. But he didn't.
