He seemed to have very significantly worn down by the end of the last test. We'd see how he was going better if we could stop collapsing our innings in the first session every time.

You can trash a pitch inside of 3 days based on a previous result if you need to.

But if you're preparing a 3.5 day pitch because it always rains in Sydney, you absolutely cannot turn that into a road within 3 days, cos the curators have been preparing that test pitch since the footy season finished.

Are you seriously comparing a test pitch that's been in preparation for 3 months with the pitch at your local ground that the groundsman desperately tries to cobble together on a week-to-week basis?

Doesn't sound like you could manage the grass in your own backyard, let alone on a cricket pitch.
I look forward to your three page pamphlet on how people on the internet shouldn't be trusted with pitch curation, and how only you can explose the FRAUD.

Should be a ripper read, once you get down to Officeworks.

Pathetic how the channel seven commentators aren’t baking the Indians for their carry on. We would cook our own if they charged the r opposition batsmen like they have. Must be nice to be on the IPL payroll. Justin Langer is a weak weak little garden gnome
I dont remember the last time our boys did that

The lack of openers making a case is a thing, and he may be better than most Australians on slower decks in SL and WI. I can see him going to SL, then being replaced if somebody piles on runs in the final Shield games.
Lab has got enough 60s over the series to retain a spot, again given a lack of #3 options as well.

Nobody is really in form, maybe Head despite today, but the options aren't exactly putting forward compelling cases either.
By Sydney next summer - even the WI series - the top six may look very different (a fit Green comes in for somebody, presumably Webster).
Head? Despite today? you missed the Melbourne test Webster a better bat than a couple in the team Green may not be better?
