To be fair Boland was great in the WTC, did more with the pitch set for that match and I think there were stats saying the ball was doing less compared to previous Ashes in England.

Again, I literally said that Boland probably should get the new ball. This will be maybe the fifth time I’ve written it.

However if I gave it to him I would give it to him over Cummins who has spent his career bowling first change, rather than Starc who needs the ball to swing

People rave about Bumrah, but in all reality the Australian batting line up is B- or C at best. This is not a team even remotely comparable to a team that had Hayden, Langer, Ponting, the two Waughs, Martyn and Gilchrist. At the moment the young kid from India is making a mess of our pie chuckers just as Boland clean bowls Rahul! Still, if Australia chase more than 200 on this pitch even without Bumrah we will struggle!

The 1990s Test team was strong too.

I am watching it mate. Again, Starc has to bowl. He’s a bowler: so bowl him when he’s going to get some swing, and open him with Boland, and bowl your former world number 1 bowler who’s always bowled first change, at first change.

Starc tends to get a lot of wickets in his first over and cleaning up the tail. Outside of these times he's a liability unfortunately.
