So a healthy Bumrah wouldn't have changed the outcome?
Good to know
I was being modest.... fine
a healthy Bumrah and he would have got all 10 2nd innings wickets, man of the match, man of the series AND unseat Albo as Prime Minister of Australia!

MCG is very much a wide ground. Like in AFL - a lot of visiting teams struggle with the width of the ground. India cricket...it can be difficult to hit boundaries because it's such a wide ground. Like a large circle.
There is an argument though that difficult pitches are the best ones to use it on.Given the MCG and SCG pitches aren't flat anymore, Bazball won't be as effective here.
This is all I think of when I see Gambhir: ROOOBISH
Walk in and ask for a Prince AlbertWebster.
I'm 57 years old. Never had a piercing or tattoo in my life.
Told my wife today I want an ear ring to be cool like Beau!

Ashes away > BGT home/away > Ashes home.Was a ripper
I think Border Gavaskar is now superior to the Ashes personally

I think at a minimum you’ve got to be able to operate at high 130’s to mid 140’s. Unless you’re Boland and can drop it on a dime each time.Is but I doubt it - I hope like hell he can but I reckon he’s destined to be the next Chadd Sayers.
Talking to a few experienced heads last week - tall and Fast quicks are essentially all they want at the elite level
I second this suggestionWalk in and ask for a Prince Albert

PM?
Have to be an Australian citizen, so no.
He's well set for life after cricket, Kohli on the other hand..He's so likeable, could also star in his own tv sitcom!

Here is a free tip for everyone: bazball tricked Australia into setting feeble fields, and England got a **** tonnne of runs ODI over 15 to 40 style - easy singles. That was how it benefitted England most.
The other main mistake Aussies made was not bowling at the stumps in Ashes. As a rule, you bowl at the stumps to the tail and just outside to the recognised batters. But if you bat like it's T20 then bowl like T20 and you'll get bowleds and LBWs.
Set proper fields and take their wickets. In a five year series, law of averages says it will still get them one total above 500 but hold your nerve, and I think proper cricket wins out.

The Indian level of support here (especially in Melbourne) adds to the theatreAshes away > BGT home/away > Ashes home.
The first three are competitive, the last one not so much usually.
We've had Aussie Kim, Aussie Rafa, Aussie Novak in recent years
It's possible!
Djokovic??
Another arrogant and narcissic tosser.
Wouldn't make PM, but would fit into the Indian team comfortably.
I don’t think you can write off our fast bowling cartel just yet. Boland should get a chance against England. I’d not say he is ineffective against attacking batsmen. He deserves another crack.I think if we rock up to the Ashes with the same old, tired bowlers we are going to have our pants pulled down
Hazlewood is on his last legs, Boland is pushing 36 and proven ineffective against attacking batsmen and Starc has shown he fades at the end of series and is also 35
Kohli could fart and he'd still be the GOAT at it!
He and Kostas should get together actually make it a trio with Kyrgios..... the Bee Gees, The Three Tenors, The Three Amigos will be forgotten quickly!
Gambhir and Gavaskar ending the tour with class and humility. What a lovely nation
