Going to be a melt down on here watching Webster bowling 125 given the rage about Marsh not reaching 130
Can choose between Webster bowling 125kph on a good length or Marnus bowling 130kph half trackers

Can someone explain wearing buckets on your head?

Surely you'd be sick of it after 5 seconds, once you'd taken the selfie and the novelty wore off

Not much sun protection with a bucket on your head.

Still not as bad as the old watermelon helmets, imagine wearing one of those on a hot day at the cricket, you'd have to be mad.

The ball may have brushed a blade of grass, but if you are intelligent enough to see how Smiths fingers are under the ball from the very start, and then he even gets his thumb curled under the ball, which keeps it up. It's a catch every day of the week for those who have played the game:
I've been watching cricket for 40 plus years. It's only the advent of DRS and HDTV / 4K TV that we can scrutinise decisions further.

What we all fail to remember is that batter should always get the benefit of the doubt and the doubt was there.

Discussing the catch again
Blewett (out), Lane (out), Gavaskar (not out)
2-1 in the box
2-1 in the series

I wonder if Smith had of caught it solely, if it'd have been an out decision.
The doubt seems to be around the motion of flicking it up and where the ball were in that moment

How are we using that one still image as evidence? If you roll the vision through in real time it tells a very different story.

Using slow mo zoomed camera angles and pausing every frame you can always talk yourself into it “touching the ground”.

Gavaskar on now for more biased analysis of TV umpire decisions.

I don't think the Australian ex-cricketers are less biased than he is, they are all biased towards their old team apart from Richie.
