Unpopular opinion maybe, but I reckon the better commentators are generally the ladies. When did harsha Bogle become an insufferable twat?

Yes, there have been extremely talented players who can't cope with Test cricket.Shubman Gill lacks the temperament to match his talent, to say the least.
He often does something dumb when he bats against us (leaving the ball, wafting outside off, trying to play a big shot before lunch).
And the reason for that - they keep losing to Australia.Indians have reached the stage that they are now incredibly angry and frustrated they're not the undisputed champion team of the cricket world.

I am genuinely surprised Joel Wilson wasn’t given the Indian captaincyIndia's instructions at lunch ... send everything upstairs.
Alison Mitchell is excellentUnpopular opinion maybe, but I reckon the better commentators are generally the ladies.
Melbourne Stars, Melbourne RenegadesI don’t think I can recall a team with so much experience play so much dumb cricket as India have this series
That would explain it then.Couple of years ago he got taken off air by the BCCI for criticising India
Came back a few years later as a puppet
Alison Mitchell is excellent
Isa used to be good but it seems she's been dumbed down by Fox over the years
Isa has definitely been dumbed down, but a dumbed down Isa is still better than most of the ex-players commentating these days.Alison Mitchell is excellent

Impressed with Webster’s bowling .. good action, good trajectory, accurate .. won’t force wickets at test level but looks like he could bowl dry for decent spells and keep batters honest esp in nibbly conditions. If his batting holds up could be a handy player..
Healy is impressive thus far.Unpopular opinion maybe, but I reckon the better commentators are generally the ladies.

Been a toss since the 2008 Sydney test. The crying and victim mentality has been with him ever since, can't stand the bloke. When did harsha Bogle become an insufferable twat?

Will be fascinating to watch him bat after boxing day and the backlash, does he stick to his natural game?Least pant is in boy that was a bore that innings

So he’s a sell out with no morals or convictions
I love Punter as a commentator but he's just flat out wrong here. If the ball touches the ground and the catcher isn't in control of his movement then it's not out. Doesn't matter that it hasn't left his hand.
I don't like the rule, but it's what it is. Sure, there's doubt as to whether the ball did hit the ground, but if it did, then it's not out.
Healy is good but her co-commentators are regularly insufferable with their often inane questions about Starc.Healy is impressive thus far.
I hate our commentary.I think as Australians we often are oblivious to some of the partisan commentary on our presenting networks. I certainly notice it from the likes of Ian Smith and some of the england commentators, as well as Sunny, but that doesn't mean our commentary is a beacon of objectivity and fairness, we are equally as galling for visiting oppositions.
