Lads are working hard.

Feels like it could go either way at this point, the partnership now is up to 35 & have passed the balls faced by Gill and Kohli.

I worry if Pant gets 50, as he will surely start being aggressive with his eye in.

What’s everyone’s excuse for the Australians having bowled only 50 overs? It’s not the run rate.

Clearly a tactic to minimise play and win the series. Reverse the situation and we’d be complaining about those cheating Indians and the corrupt ICC. When it’s simply smart cricket tactics.

it doesn't look good, and don't think anyone can excuse it

Bring in the BIG SHOW . he takes some good catches. Glenn is Fun to watch batting too.
36 years old. Shield average 35. Hasn't played red ball cricket for 2 years. Be surprised if he's played more than a handful of 1st class games in the last 5 years. Maybe in England, dunno.

Love watching him play the short game, but he's a very long way down the pecking order for a test berth. Won't happen.

Pant has probably wasted 10-15 minutes with the amount of times he has been hit

Tell Rishabh to stop getting hit

****ing painful commentary on fox right now repeating themselves about India’s cautious approach.

Abysmal listening before to the criticism of Pant ‘batting like a scolded schoolboy.’

Well why wouldn’t he? He was absolutely hammered for his shots in Melbourne (rightly) and his team is 4-nothing in game they have to win on day one here in Sydney.

He’s been hit all over his body and is digging in and he’s getting bashed for not scoring quick enough.

How many overs are they behind?

That probably was the Windies in their heyday excuse when they’d bowl 72 overs a day.
2 elite pace, 6 overs each in the first hour.
2 more elite pace, 6 overs each in the second hour.
40 min lunch break
First 2 pace coming off a 1 hour 40 minute break
Then ditto second pace

India not throwing a wicket away before a break, they have changed their game plan.

I used to be the guitar/singer guy on Thursday nights and Sunday afternoons at The Wembley in the early 90s…I remember some extended staff lock-ins at that place 🥴 😂

Edit: wasn’t former WCE Peter Wilson one of the owners too?

The Wembley was great in the 90s, Karl Langdon and Peter Wilson were owners too so lots of West Coast players would go there.

It was the place to go, I even saw Alan Bond there one night, despite doing a stint in jail he was still very popular, a WA cult hero.
