He got a short ball that was fairly non threatening and he probably had every right to attack.

This wasn’t Melbourne first innings stuff. It was a normal pull shot to a regulation short ball that was at a decent height to pull. As someone else pointed out about the only thing he didn’t do was deliberately try to get over the top of it.

Yes, I get annoyed when Cummins is referred to as an all-rounder. He's not, Number 8 is his spot, and he does it well.

Regulation short ball? It was outside off and he dragged it miles across just like Melbourne. Play the right shot to it if it’s there to hit, don’t just lean back and hack it across the line.
