It's the first rule of captaincy, always bat first. Unless you're a mad lad.

Captains don't cop a lot of heat for batting sides getting rolled cheaply. They do when they bowl and the opposition bats score heavily.

Yes it was outside off. It was more or less right where Usman Khawaja plays 90 per cent of his pull shots from and where most left hand batsmen like Warner in times past pull deliveries through mid wicket when a right armer comes around the wicket to them.

Definitely wasnt there to play that shot. The reason he couldn’t get over it was because it was too wide

On the zoomed in slowmo when they were looking at the shiny side of the ball and talking about reverse, it looks like it swung in and then there was seam movement off the pitch that straightened the line.
