I don't think he can if the 2 hour rule is written that way (I'm unsure if it resets when there's a change of innings)
2 hours or 20 overs l'm told ( from a cricket tragic ) whichever comes first.

He’s a bullshit artist who has changed his tune more times than I’ve changed jocks. “Too Late” as Malcolm Marshall said to me one day after he took my batting partner’s head offGreg Chappell,

Australian cricket is at a crossroads. This is the path we should take from here
The current framework is stunting the development of our players. Here’s how we should redesign the season to ensure a steady supply of ready-made Test cricketers.www.theage.com.au
That's my worry about him. I just think you need more pace to play Test cricket. Maybe Ryan Harris can do some work with him. Harris was able to add at least 20kph to enable him to play Test cricket.Fergus is a gun, would be ideal if he could gain 5 to 10km/h pace
That’s what I’m questioning. Unsure in the same wayI don't think he can if the 2 hour rule is written that way (I'm unsure if it resets when there's a change of innings)

Thanks for posting it - i will chase it up and i suspect he’s right BUT this bloke had a major role in where we are at now while he was at CA. Not that anyone cares but i had a heated argument with him at a CV Coaching Conference about 10 years ago. Jon Deeble grabbed me after and congratulated me for having the nuts to challenge him and told me “You’re not wrong”Greg Chappell,

They also played on a lot of roads in the late 90's and 00's which helped the batters score a lot of runs quicker just like England now give their bats roads so they can score quickly. There was barely anything close to the pitches we have seen across the country in the last 3-4 yearsAnyone over thirty five grew up watching some of the most breath taking cricket you could ever see and anything after that is going to look a bit pedestrian. It hasn't helped that almost all of those teams have ended up in the media where they love to remind us how good they were.
That’s why my daughter never gets picked in rep sides. Not quick enough or tall enough but generally has the best economy rate and takes wickets. Is but I doubt it - I hope like hell he can but I reckon he’s destined to be the next Chadd Sayers.
Talking to a few experienced heads last week - tall and Fast quicks are essentially all they want at the elite level
Bob Simpson was very overated tbh.
If social media is true, Aussie fans asking Indian fans “where’s your visa” at the ground is shit behaviour.

You can't expect a great of the game to let a 19yo debutant to carry on like he is David Hasselhoff.Kohli is the only one who has crossed the line this series, shoulder charging someone
Or Indian 'fans' hoping their bowlers do 'a Phillip Hughes' to Konstas. Truly sick.Or, after the WC final in 2023, when Indians went onto Head's Instagram threatening to rape his wife.
