We have the most in the 44 out of all 18 teams, but the final 22 is fan voted, so we'll probably be lucky to get one or two, given the Matilda Mark of All Time farce.

The squad was chosen by former AFLW player Kate McCarthy in her role as Chair of Selectors, with support also from the AFLPA and Champion Data.

Eligibility for a player to be selected in the squad requires them to be 22 years of age or under for the entirety of the ongoing AFLW season (including Grand Final day – November 30). They also must have played at least five matches throughout the 2024 season.

It will be fans that decide the make up of the final 22Under22 team, with voting now open at vote.22under22.com.au.

Voting will close at midnight on November 13.
