Well done Lachie.
I worry that he doesn't hit the scoreboard enough, even though his role is as a pressure forward.
Seems to have a great defensive mindset. Could he be a good small defensive player instead? We still get cut up by opposition small forwards because we do not man them closely enough.
Because we insist on playing Cincotta, - 186cm - McGovern, - 191cm - Marchbank, - 193cm - as our small/medium defenders.

Don't think we need Fog behind the ball, pressure forwards work best when there's more than one of them.

Well done to the man. Remember his first "break out" game he played for us in 2021 against freo.

25 touches
1 goal
7 tackles

He definitely has it in him to become more than just a role player.

One element he can add that will take him to the next level is kicking goals. He's unselfish to a fault. If he backed himself in occasionally and got takes some shots at goal instead of trying to pass it off every time. If he can find a goal or 2 a game he will just add another massive headache for opposition clubs.

When was the last time we extended a Geelong trade contract? Murphy?
Adrian Hickmott and Justin Murphy both finished up for us in 2003. Murphy played one game for us in 2001, went to Geelong in 2022 back to us in 2003 and then on to *.

Hickmott was as tough as they come and a great pick up, Murphy on the other hand.

The Old "Geelong don't lose any good players" adage is under threat. Fog, Clark at freo and McCarthy at the lions have all been handy pick ups.
