I have been reading all your threads and comments/reply to mine and you are all so full of bloody good words and confidence towards the bullldogs. They do not deserve any praise whatsoever!!!. They are a bunch of BOYS imitating a FOOTBALL SIDE. They should be charged with fraud. They are crap and there is no HOPE this year!!. We are FINISHED!!. Final Word LIBBA MUST GO.... NOW!!!!.

Do you ever think before you start TYPING THAT SHYT?? Do u only go to watch em win?? cos thats not the point of barracking for sum1. WHAT IS THE POINT IN HAVING BAD WORDS?? WHATS THE POINT IN HAVING NO CONFIDENCE?? that will keep gettin us down. Cheer up!! or u could make us all happy and SHUT UP!! If were so crap, stop going. Noones forcing u. and stop writing ur crap.

Do something constructive, go and play in the middle of a 4 lane highway.

Dear People, it does not matter what you think of me. You do not insult my intelligence or wish me any harm!!!. I do support the Bulldogs, however if you think that getting beaten the way we have in the past 5 rounds is good enough, then that's ok. But you people are the ones that will stay around and clap a defeat. If you believe it is good enough thats great.
If you think getting beaten every week is good enough, then look at our membership numbers and you will quickly realise, that if a side wins, memberships actually rise!!. As soon as you realise that members actually go to see a side win, the better off you will be. When a side doesn't win, memberships dwindle!!!.
Do not think for one minute that I don't believe we will ever be beaten. It is part and parcel of footy that sides get beaten. However it doesn't hurt so much if our side actually puts in. We have been deficient in alot of areas, and this shows in our results.
If our players who get paid well, showed a little heart, kicked a little straighter and put up a good fight, I wouldn't be so harsh.

Other supporters don't put up with mediocrity, thats why their teams are successful. We've been putting up with " don't bag em, they tried their best" since 1954, thats why we have one premiership.

Final word LIBBA still has to GO..... NOW!!!!

I agree mate.....i have told them this.......but they won't listen....so dont even bother.

they are satisfied with a 'best' performance......and as long as this continues we will never win a premiership.

these guys in the bulldog forum remind me of a line out of the movie 'the rock' when sean connery said:

"losers always wine about there ****ing best, the winner goes home to **** the prom queen"

Go create your own mutual admiration forum. Or would it be a one-person club? ;)

if you are implying that we are the same person......you are wrong........I dont agree with some of the things he said.......I thought all the fraud talk was a bit harsh..........and that we are intimidating a football side.....i think that is also harsh.......

I have no doubt that the dogs tried there best........you cant fault them for that............just dont think there best is an acceptable excuse thats all.

I'm not sure why I'm bothering to say this but I've got nothing better to do right now so here goes..............I don't remember any of "us" saying that "we" are satisfied with a 'best' performance. It's extremely disappointing for all Bulldog supporters to see the team in its current position but at least we can see in to the future to what it WILL become. HOWZAT!!!!;)

The only problem you have apart from accepting mediocrity, and being a bart (super trent) lover is that others on this forum will mistake you for me .... actually that would be the best thing that happened to you since you joined. Don't worry people couldn't confuse us because I say it how it is and you accept 0-5 and think that only supporters who DON'T bag the team should be here... I am not going anywhere so if you don't like it, simple, ignore me... otherwise goodBye:rolleyes:

Actually an interesting topic, this one.

I've actually made a conscious decision NOT to clap good efforts, if we lose. I am ambivalent about that decision. There's no doubt that, at times, even a losing effort deserves to be praised (say, a game like round 22 vs Essendon in 1996). But it's tough love. I really don't think that a side that has yet to REACH a grand final - DAY OR NIGHT!! - since I have supported them (nearly 30 years) deserves to be applauded for a 'good effort' in the event of failure. This mentality, as you will recall, is the one that makes Plough 'spew up.' It's pure behaviourist philosophy - positive reinforcement of failure will beget failure.

That also doesn't mean to say that we should unleash untold amounts of vitriol against our team (that we love so much) if they do happen to fail. Opinions CAN be expressed without venom. For as much as we shouldn't tolerate mediocrity, I think that the overall vibe among us HAS to be positive. Let's face it, who hasn't been sh*tty with the team over the years?? Rejecting failure may mean that we simply do not take any consolation from 'near misses', but it shouldn't mean the erosion of an ultimately positive mindset.
