President David Barham made a small reference to Dodoro when talking about the club’s list management vision at Essendon’s Crichton Medal count in October.

“We have injected more money and resources into list management and recruiting team, and we will continue to support this critical area which is now led by Matt Rosa,” Barham said.

The popular theory going around was Dodo was prepared to go public and burn the EFC to the ground about what he knew about the redacted goings on and shredding of paper trails during the Hird/Dank Peptides saga.

Seems he (reportedly) tucked away some of the redacted files as some kind of comprehensive insurance in case he was ever fired by Essingtin.

He allegedly blackmailed the club and won a significant hush money settlement.
