The 2007 Season is about to get under way with the Pre Season competition beginning in less then a day. The Competition is getting fierce with teams out to win the Silver ware.

Whitnall kicks 9 to start season​

Carlton Full Forward Lance Whitnall has started the 2007 season kick started. Whitnall kicked 9 goals in the Blues 20 point win against the Kangaroos at the MCG.

The Blues kicked 21 goals to run out winners, and with big red on fire, there was no way the Roos could get over the line. Nathan Thompson did kick 6 goals for the Roos, but that wasn't enough to get his team over the line.

Veteran Anthony Kotoufides was back to his brilliant best and picked up 28 possesions, being the leader on the ground. Shannon Grant started well for the Roos picking up 25 himself. Ex-Collingwood, Cameron Cloke had 20 hitouts for the match, beating Roo's ruckman Hamish McIntosh.
Young Blues, Jordan Russell had a good start to hs season kicking off with 27 possesions, 5 marks and kicking a goal for the Blues, and looking to have a good season ahead of him. Number 1 Draft Pick, Bryce Gibbs didnt find himself fit enough to play for the Blues in their opening NAB Cup Match.
