Maybe Brisbane could even replace the lion with some sort of monogram…I wouldn’t be upset if Sydney wore their V jumper in the GF
It will either be this or Lions in their clash/whitecould we see swans in home/red vs lions in home/maroon?
the dream scenario is belgravia make some royal blue shorts and its south/red vs fitzroy/blueHere. We. Go.

If I had to put money on it, I would say this is what AFL will do. I wouldn't put a lot of money on it though.Last time they played in a Sydney home game was 2022 and it was both in full home.

As someone mentioned earlier, gotta remember it’ll be a day game and looking likely to be sunny at this stage, not sure if that would make both teams home kits more or less of a contrast. This'll be interesting. Sydney have white as a core jumper colour, so I'd straight up not put Brisbane in white shorts.
Last year's GF was dark vs dark with white shorts for the lower-ranked team, so maybe that's an acceptable precedent for Brisbane in their threepeat jumper. If maroon & red are considered outside the realm of dark vs dark, then Brisbane will be asked to wear their Bears jumper (I'd have them in maroon shorts, but they'll be in white).
I'd personally put Sydney in white shorts with their home jumper (with Brisbane in full maroon) but I'm pretty sure the last time that happened was against Essendon 25 years ago.
Sydney might just be amenable to wearing their South Melbourne jumper if the AFL ask them to facilitate an optimal contrast (let's be honest hear, last year's grand final wasn't great visually - my eyes were strained trying to differentiate, especially when play was on the member's wing).
Otherwise, we have a pre-season knockout - this year - between these two sides in Blacktown. Wasn't the prettiest but passable nonetheless, and gives both sides their preference.
Would love to know Mero's thoughts.
Looks fine at night under lights, but in sunlight it's not the best contrast. But knowing the AFL it will be fine.Full home against full home is the only option here. Don't see any issues with it, the red and maroon are quite different.
Also, was that the first appearance of the red Brisbane guernsey in a finals match? Is Brisbane the first team to wear three different guernseys in a finals series? Pretty sure they would be.
What the match-up is next week is pure guesswork.
I expect this to happen.AFL logic means it will probably be Swans home with red vs Brisbane home with white.
This would be a better contrast but for branding reasons both teams will be in their home jumpers. Up to 1 million viewers from each of NSW and QLD will be watching, for some it will be their only AFL game for the year so the AFL and clubs will want their main jumper designs showcased.I think it would actually work better with Sydney in their traditional red V and red shorts
I think they'll make them play in the Bears Clash jumpers. This'll be interesting. Sydney have white as a core jumper colour, so I'd straight up not put Brisbane in white shorts.
