Of the 2 on our list Skipper is a better stop gap/ insurance until Bailey comes back and dominates the competition but then he's gone. Putt's a prospect who may give us some value (either on the ground or in a trade, GWS maybe) in a few years. So if its those 2 for the 3rd ruck spotmI'll take Putt.

Also its interesting to see how many players Port & the Doggies have training with them. Looks like they are both having their own version of 'Acrtic Park Survivor' that we were supposedly having for the 3rd ruck spota month or so ago.

Port dosent even have a spot on their list at the minute and will have to delist someone. Think that given how long they've had to do so delisting someone now is poor form - would have to reduce their chances of being picked up by another club.....

They delisted a young bloke yesterday.

Can any1 honestly see us delisting some1 now? If so, who. That is weak as piss delisting them after the draft has happened. Even if the player wouldnt have been picked up.

Its the AFL that set the rules that allow that scenario to potentially happen so maybe direct your anger at them and not the clubs.

Taped a game on 7TWO which was the draw between Saints and Dogs from 2007. Our man Wayde Skipper was running around and even managed to take a great mark in the goalsquare to put the Dogs in front late in the game.

He looks like one of those aliens from the Simpsons in the way he moves around the ground with his arms wailing everywhere. Makes Tails look like Cyril with the way he moves...BUT...he looks to have a nice kick on him and the ruckwork I saw from him was reasonably effective. He knows what he is doing out there.

But we want to win a premiership and he aint the answer even as a back up. There HAS to be better out there.

And yet.... would have played in the preliminary final if Minson's foot had not come up:confused:

I'm guessing they have promised to pick him up as a rookie if no other club picks him (to save face)

it's good news for us, because I couldn't stand Cloke wearing our jumper to be honest

Cloke 'aint coming to us. Somewhat disturbingly, we inquired after him in draft week, but got nowhere. And then again a couple of weeks ago.

It's safe to say he is going to Port and that has been in place for quite some time now. Which I'm very happy about.

How is it that we are not listing Ed Curnow, yet from the training reports and videos he is burning the house down ?

I believe that we don't need to since Ed is a Boxhill player.

We often have a few of them training with the squad to top up numbers.
