MVP AFL Round 12 votes - Geelong v Hawthorn

At season's end a vote count night will be organised, where round by round we will tally the votes to announce the Geelong Board 2011 Most Valuable Player. For four consecutive years this award has gone to the Geelong Best and Fairest.

5- Pods- Dominated the first half winning every 1 on 1, needed to be double team from then on out but always created a good contest.
4- Kelly, Immense around the stoppages all night, his tackling is fantastic.

3- Bartel- His game might not draw the plaudits his past game have but thought he played the ultimate team game tonight, body on the line, terrific in the air, he held the backline together in the 3rd and then had an influence up front in the last.

2- Stevie J- Plenty of the ball and a couple of telling goals. Along with his usual bag of tricks.

1 Enright, such a calming figure down back, tower of strength all night


Unlucky to miss was Joel but was only really 1 quarter performance, albeit a massive quarter, Mackie who is improving and I really liked Duncans attack on the ball, manic at times.

I'm one who has been calling for Mackie's head, but his last quarter last night was great. Took good defensive marks and really unloaded with some good quality kicks. Just got to improve tackling and we have a winner.
