Correct. They are clearly the best team in the land atm and deserve the success they're getting. However, im also a bit dissatisfied with the lack of humility and class shown by some of their supporters. I know some of it is a reaction to trolling, but much of it seems like arrogance and a lack of respect for sides that are struggling like the tigers did for decades

The actual reasoning for this is confirmation bias. If the idea of something being a thing is in your head and you see things that support that then it reinforces that it's true. What you don't consider is all the other posts and people not doing that because they're not doing the thing you're more aware of and looking for. Add to that the actions you take that put you in a position to be exposed to that thing and it's pretty obvious what opinion you would form.

This is something all supporters do and probably the worst thing about BigFooty. There are other online communities (that I won't mention because I don't want people ruining it) that do cross supporter discussion much better.

however you need to put yourself in our position to realise why we are, who we are. I'm hoping you never get to find out the absolute abject misery we have had supporting this club, who for decades, has been ridiculed, embarrassed and the butt of everyone's jokes.
We never asked to be so shit. The club was a complete embarrassment and we had our noses rubbed in it year in, year out.
Forgive us that we are going over the top with our new-found success. It's pretty much foreign territory for all of us.
There is a lot of pent up aggression and anger to let out.
Not condoning over the top arrogance, but just a reason why most of us have been 'enjoying' it.
