TED: How’s June?
Adelaide - the hot new girl everyone wants to get to know.
Brisbane - SLE Commodore or a HSV? Still unproven on long trips.
Carlton - Ashley & Martin - everyone knows it's fake.
Collingwood - iPhone 2.0, everyone wants one. The old version was the Motorola equivalent, only liked by those that used them.
Fremantle - popular cover band on the local Freo circuit. Hasn't been succesful interstate.
Geelong - rural cousins who come to town every now and then for the big show. Took last years blue ribbon for best in show back to Sleepy Hollow. Looks set to be in the going out parade once again.
Gold Coast - great for holidays, but would you really want to live there?
GWS - a new school made from demountables, no-one is sure if it'll be permanent.
Hawthorn - a barn find classic, waiting to be restored. Unsure if they can afford the parts.
Melbourne - recently restored classic car that doesn't like to be taken out for too long, subject to breaking down. Running beautifully at the moment, might yet run a podium finish.
Richmond - repeated year 12 twice, soon to be cast out.
Sydney Swans - ugly ducklings once again.
North Melbourne - the AFLs tire fire.
Essendon - the original pro-vaxers, might just be getting healthy again.
Port Adelaide - The Angels (band variety) of the AFL, everyone prefers the success of the early / SANFL days.
St Kilda - the Elizabeth Taylor of the AFL, serial monagamist on its 7th husband in 20 years.
West Coast - like a pair of jocks discarded on the footpath, you wonder how did they get there?
Western Bulldogs - needs to get some mongel back into the kennel, too many purebreds.
And finally Tasmania, all buzz no hive
