Hate to be controversial in any way regarding this but:

The uniform for the AFL Premiership Season must consist of a black jumper or guernsey with a red sash, red and black socks and white or black shorts. Such uniform must be worn at all matches subject to the rules and directions of the AFL

You'll note that this reference, although it is gender-neutral, likely does not take into account a) AFL directives for a "Pride" jumper, if such directive was made and b) the "AFL Premiership", unqualified, generally refers to the V/AFL comp and not to the AFL Women's Premiership.

I’m all for clubs having pride jumpers so please don’t misinterpret this.

Surely there are possible ways other than the rainbow flag to celebrate pride on a footy jumper.

Great message, but the guernseys all look pretty average because that many colours is too messy.
