As we prepare for the 10th AFLW season, we take a look at what you can expect in season 2025

• 2025 season will comprise 12 home and away rounds in 12 weeks, followed by four weeks of finals.
• Season starts two weeks earlier, on August 11, coinciding with round 23 of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
  The Grand Final will remain on the last Saturday of November, which this year falls on Saturday, November 29.
• Pre-seasons in the week beginning Monday, May 19. Last year most of the Hawthorn AFLW list, on a rotating basis, turned out for a game or two at Box Hill VFLW prior to pre-season start, so assume the same will happen this year.

If last year is any indication, we should see them - last year Stone, McLaughlin and Williamson played five BHH VFLW games from R3-R7, Butterworth three and Vukic two BHH games. West and Sheriff as inbound trades also played two VFLW games in R1-2.
