another difference this quarter is the umpires have actually paid the free kicks, so many obvious ones missed throughout the first 3 qrtrs

Hetherington looks a good pickup as second ruck.

Needed to get Tighe into the game sooner and have ODriscoll higher up, possibly as a mid.

Totally agree. The last quarter was very good, just blew a few chances.That was more like the years when we were the power team in the compettion.The year they stole our premiership.
Agree re Tighe, she is wasted and looks lost sitting up forward.
Also Drizzy needs to be arounf the ball as a big body.
Early the girls lacked physicality, and seemed almost afraid to tackle and run hard.
Umpiring... ordinary to say the least.

Seems a bit of a classic bedding down new game plan/coach pattern. Fits and spurts to start the year. So us looking for those green shoots can be the way to go.

All asleep at the beginning of that game. The early start games on the East Coast take adjusting to.

Too young.

05 and older players are invited.

Zippy will be next year with a whole contingent of classy players.

This years WA crop isn't flash compared to what is inbound 06 & 07 are very exciting
